Next week we are running three cyber security sessions, designed to help you feel confident staying safe online. We hope you will join us in this exciting opportunity to hear directly from the Cyber Protect Officer for Surrey Police and Sussex Police. Learn from the expert about the most common types of cyber crime affecting people in your community, and how you can massively reduce your chance of being a victim. The online session will cover:- -Staying safe on social media- How to browse the internet safely- -The impact cyber crime has on our communities and how we fight it -How to set up a flawless and convenient password/Multi Factor Authentication system for logging in to your accounts -Privacy settings and digital footprints- Keep your home and smart devices safe from hackers -Cryptocurrency uses and risks -The dangers of public Wi-Fi and malicious USB drives -How you can see if your email and phone number have been involved in a data breach -How to constantly identify scam/phishing emails and how to report them (we have some fun examples for you!)
