Lower Kingswood is privileged to have a Grade 1 listed building, a church built in the style of a Roman basilica that is filled with ancient Roman and Byzantium artefacts.
Inspired by two Lower Kingswood residents Sir Henry Cosmo and Dr Edwin Hanson, this unique church was designed by Sidney Barnsley and built by local craftsmen. It was dedicated in 1892.
Today it is one of two churches within the Parish of Kingswood.
