Pubs & Social Clubs

The Sportsman

Located on the edge of Banstead Heath in Mogador, the core of its building dates to the days of King Henry VIII when it was a hunting lodge on the lands of Nonsuch Palace. As a Public House, it has for well over 100 years been an integral part of the village and was for many years the only ‘Ale-house’ gaining its wine licence in the 1920s. Today it is a fine country pub with roaring open fires, extensive gardens, and outside space serving a wide range of refreshments and fine food. Let’s not forget the Hut @KT20, located in the beer garden you can get a delicious breakfast roll, cakes, tea, and coffee. With direct access to Banstead Heath, yes, you can still tether your horse outside.
